Stefan and Jenny, Patrick and Johanna as well as Dunja and Maik are visionaries, artists, parents and entrepreneurs... and they are humans with a heart full of dreams for a better world. Even if they are neither related nor grew up together in the same place, they still feel like family to each other. They are united by the desire for personal development and at the same time for community support with co-creation. Apparently brought together by chance, the path of life let them meet again and again on their individual hero's journey in the middle of a great period of change. They go part of the way together, supporting, challenging and inspiring each other in their talents. Having their own family and businesses like a start-up music label, being self-employed as a filmmaker and movement trainer, or working together in a team, that just started to find each other, they have also long periods of where they have not the chance to meet each other or have a short phone call. The topics of new forms of school, social entrepreneurship, way of living in a creative community are calling, and seem to be hardly not possible to implement in their life. They also encounter challenges in the form of setbacks. Exhaustion and disillusionment are also spreading, in the area of tension between partnership and social norms. Their stories take the viewer on their own life-journey and the question of a meaningful life for themselves and within a community called global humanity on planet earth. The film gives a real-life experience in touching and authentic images, story and actors, based on the life stories of three families - inspired by real events.
