Paracuru is a small fishing town surrounded by majestic sand dunes in one of the poorest states in Brazil. Life in Paracuru is paced with the tides, the swinging hammocks, and the wind that for more than 6 months a year blows with relentless strength. The sun rises every morning at 6 am, and it sets at 6 pm, the year round. Nobody is as reliable as the Sun, in Paracuru. Here, there is an army of children and teenagers, that are waiting 5 long months for the rainy season. With the rain the wind settles down, and the surf arrives.
