Béla Hancsovszky, accused of a daring building explosion, becomes the focal point of a complex narrative. The year 1945 was difficult for the Hungarian community in Czechoslovakia in many ways. Although the war is over, its imprint remains strong in society: the desire for revenge, ethnic and racial hatred, the devaluation of human life and values continue to dominate everyday life. This impact extends beyond just communities, touching the destinies of individuals as well. The interpretation of Béla Hancsovszky's person and his story continues to challenge us today. According to a police report, Hancsovszky is implicated in a daring act of rebellion where he, along with other individuals, detonates explosives that shatter the Tornalja Police Station building. Miraculously, no one is harmed in this desperate protest, but the authorities seize the opportunity to exploit the situation for their own gain. The story unravels through three intertwined perspectives: a historical account, a young historian's personal journey, and a vivid portrayal of Hancsovszky's defiant act in 1945, challenging the fabric of society. The film brings forth evidence that had not been presented before.
