Storyline:  A Spanish trade unionist adopts the name Enric Marco and for years pretends to have survived a Nazi concentration camp. Deceiving everyone, including his own family, he became president of the Amical de Mauthausen in Spain, an association of Holocaust survivors, where he became a prominent figure by giving talks about his alleged experience. Everything falls apart when a historian discovers that his account is completely false.
