Our American Dream tells the story of an immigrant and a refugee who come to America from Vietnam and, against all odds, find each other and raise a family. They work their way to the top of the entertainment industry only to find a profound desperation to reunite the family with their home country of Vietnam. This documentary dives into what our American Dream looks like while revealing the generational truth gaps inside each family.
