Examines Paul Weller's human journey through changing times in the early 1990's, the new direction in sound that he found and the resulting tour-de-force that is Wild Wood; Weller's second solo studio album, released in 1993. Through new interviews, Paul Weller and band explore the period of 1992/3 and what was happening inside the studio, as well as events outside-the-studio-window that influenced the writing and composing of the songs for Wild Wood. In contrast to the business-driven commercial pop songs that populated the charts across the UK and Europe in the early 1990s, Paul Weller was driven to reach for a more analogue sound for Wild Wood, resulting in a more organic feel and a return to his roots. Includes interviews with Paul Weller, Mick Talbot, Steve White, Max Beesley, Yolanda Charles, Steve Cradock, Go. Discs' Andy Macdonald, Wild Wood producer Brendan Lynch and photographer Lawrence Watson.
