Detroit Awakening (2019)

Detroit Awakening is a fan film in the universe of the best-selling game from Quantic Dream, Detroit Become Human. The film follows RK900 - meant to be the stronger, faster successor to the deviant hunter Connor - as he is awoken in a world where androids are already free, and his initial purpose meaningless. While other androids from the game earned their freedom through fear, trauma, and triumph, RK900's deviancy was bestowed upon him by Markus, leaving him free, but lost. Making things even more difficult is his hostile work partnership with Detective Gavin Reed, who both mocks RK900's inhumanity and desperately seeks something human in his android partner. As androids and humans are just starting to coexist as equals, can they rise to treat each other the same?
