Marbachumentary (Matthew Skinner, 2020) (2020)

Diving into the past of this, now iconic, road can only be done by insider perspectives of residents and local business owners. Marbachumentary was a two day film project that expanded to a weekly direct action clean up project. Marbach Road is a microcosm of America as our nation is divided from impoverished inner city sprawls to the Homeowners Associations of the once rural areas outside of the city of San Antonio, Tx. Locals are now working towards turning this area into an Art District before gentrification sets in.
