Ameyalli (2019)

Sonia Vega is a native and inhabitant of the Pueblo of San Bartolo Ameyalco, a semi-urban town located on the outskirts of Mexico City and next to the exclusive area of Santa Fe. Despite having their own spring, the Pueblo of San Bartolo Ameyalco and Sonia are facing a water crisis and the loss of their physical and cultural heritage as they are deprived of the spring water to supply a privileged sector of Mexico City.
