Dante, per nostra fortuna (2021)

"Dante, per nostra fortuna", directed by Massimiliano Finazzer Flory, tells in 27 minutes and with 21 cantos between hell, purgatory and paradise the Divine Comedy with contemporary dance and the eyes of a child, through the metaphor of theater. Declined through the eyes of a child Dante, in love with reading, and through the choreography by Michela Lucenti, the most significant cantos of the work are interpreted by the movement of dancers accompanied by the voiceo of Finazzer Flory and Angelica Cacciapaglia, in prose, and in Dante's verses. The soundtrack has been composed by taking inspiration from the signs and atmospheres of the cantos to restore the sense of Dante's journey.
