Freetown to Flatbush

Karla Conteh graduated from Fourah Bay College and has long wished to travel to America to pursue a career in dancing with the support of her parents. Instead she has stayed in her birthplace of Sierra Leone and rose to the rank of lieutenant of a Woman's militia organized by her mother to maintain WIldlife Protection...she hunts poachers. And pretty damn good at it. Their parents sent her sister Tamara directly after elementary school to go live in Brooklyn. After College, Karla is unaware that Tamara has been living what their parents would think is "A Reckless Life". She manages to convince her mother to allow her to go stay with her sister in America to assist in getting her life straight.
