Lady Chatterley's Lover (2022)

This transposition of D.H. Lawrence's classic novel to film follows the story of aristocratic Connie Reid, who has an unhappy marriage and begins a passionate relationship with her gamekeeper, Oliver Mellors. Going against the traditions of the time, in addition to their class differences, what is implied is whether or not their romance can be maintained. Filmmaker Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre skillfully narrates this secret romance, wonderfully acted by Emma Corrin and Jack O'Connell.
