No Harm Done

Set in 2017, Australia has just said "yes" to gay marriage becoming legal. In Sydney, Marvin and Sharon are a middle class suburban married couple with a 19-year-old son Paul who is about to come out of the closet and marry his lifelong best friend Chris, all on one day. Through a slight miscommunication, Sharon, a devoted mother and housewife, takes control and sets about planning a pop-up wedding for her son over a course of three days, only to discover moments before the nuptials that her son is marrying another man, much to the shock of Marvin and Sharon. With the two grooms to be, their headstrong fathers, a drag queen celebrant, a hateful mother-in-law, a Karen and her potentially pyromaniac son, the backyard wedding planned in 3 days is set to be pure bliss or not.
