Dishay (1988)

'Breathe!' is a document for the protests of the citizens of Ruse against the gassing of their city by the Chemical plant in Giurgiu, Romania. For the first time after decades society openly confronts the Party leaders who try to escape their state responsibility in a formal way. The film turns into one of the symbols of the changes, occurring in Bulgaria in November 1989 and becomes occasion for a series of informal organizations' meetings / the foundation of the Ruse Committee among others/. It is incriminated by the official authorities.
