Machado de Assis - A Vida É Boa! (2008)

The passion and care for the written word moved Machado de Assis' gift, and characterize the tales and novels that make up the author's rich work. Born in a modest family, in 1839, Joaquim Maria was born in Rio de Janeiro, which had only 200 thousand inhabitants, but was developing at full speed economically and culturally.
