Sganarelle is a poor woodcutter who makes life a living hell for his wife and family by drinking, arguing and fighting. As two passing servants of a rich man mention their frustration at being unable to find a doctor who can cure their master's daughter's mysterious illness, Sganarelle's wife sees an opportunity for revenge. Danish adaptation of Molière's 1666 farce.
