Overpass (2021)

The film happens in a social context narrating 3 parallel stories. Hasti's story, Hasti, a 17 years old girl was always moving between his father's and mother's places after their divorce, no one accepting her responsibility made her feel abandoned and lonely leading her to start a relationship with a boy called Ashkan, several years older than her. Hasti has an unexpected pregnancy and now must let Ashkan know about the baby but fear is a great obstacle. Saed's story, Saed, a 30 years old delinquent, only aims to get money by any means. He has a plan to rob a coffee house, his usual hangout, and he also has a biff with the owner but things don't go according to plan. His mother performs illegal abortions. Nasser's Story Nasser is a factory worker. The factory and production line is facing difficulty due to uncontrolled import of goods and ignoring domestic production, many factory lines to be shut down leading to lay off of staff. To do so workers name has been drawn randomly and Nasser should also get laid off. His wife is six months pregnant and since he's jobless and their rent is delayed she wants to abort their baby.
