The film captures interviews with four Liverpool musicians - now in their 50's and 60's - who had all been 'snapped' as part of the gathering of over 200 Mersey Beat musicians in Liverpool in 1964. Their collective photograph was taken by renowned German photographer Astrid Kirchherr and her colleague, Max Scheler. Archive footage from the sixties is also included, whilst the interviews with Mike Byrne, Alan Schroeder, Dianne Aujla and Johnny 'Guitar' Byrne (from bands, respectively, Archer and the Arrows, Black Knights, The Centaurs and Rory Storm and the Hurricanes) are taken in contemporary settings.
