Since the early 30's, British Columbia has procured a vibrant and eclectic music scene, widely known as a good place to test acts before hitting the big stages of Vegas or New York. From the founder of New Age music who performed a concert for a grieving killer whale, to the punk band whose show at Expo '86 sparked outrage that led to the cancellation of a whole concert series, Dancehalls, Deejays and Distortion crosses musical genres exploring stories of artists, deejays, and clubs that made British Columbians swing and shout.
