Fang ke (2021)

In the summer of 2008, an 8-year-old boy, Wenhui Chen, pays a short visit to his father in Hong Kong to apply for a permanent identity card. Wenhui struggles to reconnect with his estranged father while staying in the shabby one-bedroom apartment with his father's girlfriend whom he has never met before. Burdened by the divorce, both father and son struggle to reveal their true intentions and suppressed need for each other; They must come to terms with their longing before this visit comes to an end.
