Zubin, a young genius painter is facing an existential crisis in his life. He is battling with his inner unresolved memories in the form of dreams and symbols which move in his stream of thoughts unguided blurring the line between illusion and reality. He seeks the comfort of his muse Maya, but that is still a temporary escape from his confusions. Kabir, a poet and his brother tries to imbibe in him a sense of appreciation towards all life but Zubin in his nihilistic attitude ignores him and goes on his own ways. His paintings are always inspired by ideas that greatly move the human spirit concerning themes such as Death, Love, True friendship, Knowledge, Belief and Truth. In his quest for meaning and redemption he takes on a journey to the Himalayas and stumbles upon a yogi who seems to be an enlightened man. He begs him to show him what truth is, seeing his persistence the yogi takes on the task of helping him see his conflicts clearly as they both travel inside his mind. As the whole thing is resolved and the true meaning of life and death is grasped Zubin opens his eyes with a new kind of energy bursting within his heart. He is free.
