Velocity (2022)

In suburban Los Angeles, Daniel, a down on his luck recent divorcé is given an ultimatum by his mother: sublet their guest room or get kicked out. Meanwhile, Avery, having just turned 18, decides to run away from home-not without having to get through her mother first. Thrust together by their opposite situations, the duo form an unlikely friendship where they deal with past traumas and give each other new perspectives, all building up to a (literally) explosive climax.
