Text Me When You Get Home (2021)

Hunter (Henning), an ambitious college sophomore with aspirations to become the next RBG, has little time for parties. But when Scott (Kobayashi), the cute boy in her PoliSci class, asks her to come to a Frat party, she finds herself in a whole new world of red solo cups, beer pong, and handsy Frat Bros. Hunter leaves early to study for a final and decides to walk home alone. Through Hunter's point of view, we see the world as it exists for a young woman out at night, alone. The sounds you can't quite place. The shadows you can't quite see. Is someone following her? Finally, Hunter calls Scott to come pick her up. But he doesn't take her home. In an attempt to teach Hunter how to let go, Scott takes her to a nearby park. They smoke. They tell stories. They connect. But Hunter gets too high, things get too blurry, and suddenly Scott is on top of her. Between the gentle sway of the swings and the flashes of sweaty brows and thick fingers, something is taken that night. We experience through Hunter's eyes the ultimate loss of innocence.
