Monster Apartment (2021)

Tricia has bad luck bringing home boyfriends - her neighbors keep scaring them away. But tonight is different; Dylan may finally be the one to stick around. Unfortunately, after accidentally being hypnotized by sirens, he discovers that the neighbors aren't just scary, they are literal monsters. Tricia tells him the truth - that she manages a building full of supernatural beings - but they are interrupted by a banshee's scream, which indicates someone is going to die. Tricia goes to get a protection spell from a witch that lives down the hall - pausing to check with Dylan that he isn't totally freaking out. However, he seems to be taking it rather well. The second she is gone, he grabs his bag and pulls out Monster Hunting gear - holy water, pentagram, candles and earplugs against the siren's song. He is about to light the final candle when Tricia returns, horrified at the betrayal. She acts quick, grabbing the holy water and threatening Dylan. Dylan stands, menacing, but Tricia, in one last plea for understanding, tricks Dylan into removing his earplugs, at which point she throws the protection spell from the witch. Dylan, stunned, watches Tricia ring the bell and alert the sirens. Dylan is lured to his doom. Tricia, her date a bust, is visited by another neighbor, Jordy the Vampire, who asks if he can go enjoy the slaughter. She shrugs and he runs off to the siren's feast.
