Distancing (Atimari) explores the recent marriage tension of small-town New Zealand couple John and Rose Winstead after Rose discovers her husbands infidelity with his office co-worker, Kat. John desires a better, more improved life, made possible by moving to Sydney with Kat and leaving his small-town life, and wife, far behind - but the state of the world amid the COVID-19 pandemic and his sense of flawed morals may not make this transition the easiest.
