Second Chances (2015)

Max has early stage Alzheimer's. One day he receives a letter to say that his daughter whom he has been estranged from for 20 years, is getting married. Together with his best friend Kassi, Max decides to break out of The Happy Valley Nursing Home where he was committed, in order to attend his daughter's wedding in Malaysia. By some comedy of errors he finds himself in a stolen van with four other patients from the home. What happens next is a roller coaster ride as these oddballs take a road trip to Malaysia. Despite their differences, the five friends find solace in each other as they share their fears, hopes and dreams. Second Chances is a story about living life to its fullest with no regrets.
