Ultraviolet Rain (2021)

Filmed as a satire of the Rockumentary genre this short chronicles the life of teen siblings, Indigo and Gavin Stiles, when they are catapulted into viral superstardom because their mother, an excitable wannabe stage mom, uploads a video of them performing their new song in their room without telling them. Denise Stiles uses her experience in Public Relations to blast the internet with the video, and succeeds when the kids are interviewed for the news and angles for an A&R rep to produce their album. Gavin, the angsty artist, is not happy about it but Indigo was born to be a pop star. This film was made for the Easter Seals Disability Film Challenge to help make disability more visible.
