Blaq: A Southern Folktale

In 1950s Alabama, Bilal Blaq, a saxophonist fleeing from his past failures and the temptation of a femme deviant, inevitably returns to his roots: a small church community led by a man known around these parts as The Preacha Man, a self-righteous man who makes it his personal mission to point him towards repentance - ...even if he has to do so by force.
