College student Mason Parker returns to his hometown to discover that it is in a state of terror from creatures who have surfaced from a crevice in the earth. Sheriff Jimmy Steele, the local marine biologist and Mason face this nightmarish mission of infiltrating the creature's lair and destroying the killing monsters before any more citizens die.
