Between the Lines (2021)

An impressionistic glimpse into the lives and relationship of a mother and her twelve-year-old autistic son, as the newly added pressures of high school begin to strain their already limited communication with each other. With this we also see flashbacks seven years ago in the past where both mother and son work to find a middle ground of communication. Through the collection of vignettes, the question is ultimately asked; what happens when your communication style from seven years ago hasn't changed?
