Sugar in the milk is a story of shehnaaz dresswala, born in an orthodox Parsi family. She falls in love with a Jain boy who is not from her religion. The story shows her struggle to convince her parents who are against this marriage due to the community pressure. They both decide to do faith marriage against the will of the parents and the community. The situation takes a dramatic change when mohit (her lover) decides not to marry her?
