Candlebox - Far Behind chronicles the 30 year history of the Seattle rock band Candlebox. Following founding member and frontman Kevin Martin through this extraordinary, musical journey on tour and behind the curtain of his life. This film walks the audience through the birth of the Seattle "Grunge" scene and how Candlebox navigated a tumultuous relationship with the city the band hailed from, all the while finding tremendous success touring with bands like Rush and Metallica. Candlebox was the first act Madonna signed to her label Maverick Records and would go on to headline arena tours, selling millions of albums before a grueling road schedule, drugs and in fighting caused a fracture that would lead to years of break ups and division that ultimately led to the members finding peace, forgiveness and reconciliation.
