The Shade is spreading, poisoning the earth. The dark, magical virus is affecting Humans particularly, transforming them into mindless, ravenous creatures. The Elves prepare to abandon the world. But one elf woman stands against the mainstream, sacrificing everything, including her connection to her people for her faith in an ancient legend she believes can save the humans and the world.
