When the Lobster Whistles (2021)

Miri, a college student, must visit her ailing grandmother in the hospital. Miri visits when she can but most of her days are too busy partying away her last year of college and occasionally studying. Miri's grandmother hasn't been herself in months but this day is different from the other visits - her grandmother is fully lucid and awake. Her wit is as sharp as ever, and for the first time in a long time, Miri interacts with her favorite person again. There is something else that is different on this day as well- Irene, an unyielding optimist, is ready to go.
