When retired cattleman Dexter Kruger is invariably asked the question "How did you get to be SO very old?", he gives a variety of (mostly) amusing answers, including but not limited to: "just keep breathing", "eat prawns", "eat sardines", "eat chicken brains" (this last one caused quite a stir in international media from Newsweek to India Today and the Cameroon Magazine). But the truth of the matter is that Australia's oldest bloke can't offer any real clue as to how he came to be a supercentenarian: "I didn't do anything special at all. I just lived!" But, as we follow him over the course of his last 553 days, in The 110+ Club, few people will be left with little doubt as to the true 'secret' to Dexter's history-making longevity.
