Anton Syndrome (2021)

Synopsis: Actress Fedora Percival fights to maintain her sanity in this mise en abyme. A pair of writers and directors, Alejandro and LaDonna Nicodemus, cast Fedora in the actress' last attempt at achieving success. When Alejandro chooses Fedora's spectating husband, Novak Percival, to be part of the film Fedora catapults into an undecipherable landscape of rejection, rare symptoms of blindness, and a perishing marriage. Anton Syndrome the disease, leaves patients blind, adamant that they see clearly. "Anton Syndrome" the film, has Fedora play a character who suffers from Anton Syndrome in a film-within-a-film. Lines are blurred. Reality and fantasy intertwine.
