Friends of Mine (2022)

Creative pursuits collide with matters of the heart on Melbourne's inner-city streets. Lou, a young essayist, is trying to finish his first paid piece, but can't find the right words. Nor can he find the words to express his feelings to his crush Sylvie, a woman nine years his senior. Lou co-hosts an independent radio show with his friend Elena, an amateur director who is preparing a play in a secret attempt to reveal her own feelings for Lou. When the truth comes out, Lou's essay, and his understanding of love, begin to change.
