The Jack Matlack Story (1991)

Biography of One of the Greatest Showman who ever lived. His promotions for MGM, Universal Studios and J.J. Parker Theatre were some of the most outrageous and ingenious of all-time. His World Premiers brought included "Bend of the River" with Jimmy Steward and Rock Hudson to Portland , along with Walt Waggoner's Canyon Passage. He pioneered the opening of The American Advertising Museum, at the time, the only one in the world. As executive director of The Portland Advertising Club for 30-years, his trademark was to open meetings by firing off a starter pistol.
