He has only heard that the earth colorful, never has seen it black is the only color he knows. He finds the reflection of himself within her. She is a middle aged widow and her life is confined within a piece of white (cloth). Perhaps that is why the widow seems familiar to the blind boy. The songs she sing comes in the form of words and music showing no difference with the poems he writes. He doesn't know the color of her skin or how old her skin is. It is her songs and loneliness that made him fall in love with her but is it only love he feels for her or there is physical urge because of which he used to believe other people weak and considered himself better?
