Sanako (2021)

Sanako is a young woman in her late 20s, whose father passed away not too long ago before she decided to take her own life. Sanako, like many young Asian girls, goes through the pressure of being a young woman in a strict Asian family as well as an abusive relationship with her significant other. After her death, Sanako's mother, Mrs. Hamada grows lonelier and lonelier and starts hallucinating as if Sanako were still there. In this short film, you will see the world through Mrs. Hamada's eyes and how she takes in the pain.
