Ken is a life insurance agent with a legitimate job and no income. Frank is a loan shark with an illegitimate job and lots of income. Joe, a union man, is their unwitting liaison. Frank knows where the bodies are buried, Ken knows how to turn them into profit, and Joe wants to keep his life in order.
