A Priori Chron (2022)

A Priori Chron is a High Concept-Experimental Dance Video that plays with the concepts of time from Kantianism as something created by pure (a priori) forms of sensible intuition, a perception of each one of us. And Fatalism, which is the resignation in the face of some future events which are inevitable and which we just have to accept and move on. The story follows a woman who longs to be in the past, the nostalgia chains her and prevents her from moving on. Though, Time doesn't wait for anyone. Confused, depressed but with the will to move forward, she fights these thoughts and feelings that have her locked. The video builds up to the moment in which the only thing she can do is let go and accept the past. Visually, the idea is quite stylized using color to represent moods. Blue as nostalgia, Red as the fight, and Purple as the unknown future.
