Telisinavaallu

Hemanth, who runs a coffee-shop named " PRIDE and PREJUDICE " that serves the teens and young couple in a happening hub of Hyderabad, is a loner in life and pines for a good companionship. Being an orphan and growing up loveless , while he made his life well professionally and financially, he still feels the emotional void inside him that needs tendering of a loving heart. He finds that in a girl named Chaitra, who supplies homemade cookies for their shop. Impressed by her demure and opinions about love and commitment he proposes to her. She out rightly rejects his advances. Heart-broken he decides to leave the place ,and that is when he learns a shocking secret from her. She claims that she belongs to a family which believes in occult and superstitions and they took a vow to participate in a mass-suicide pact and till that ritual is done, there is no guarantee of her life and she cannot promise about love and marriage at this juncture of life she is in. Unable to understand the weird reasons he heard, Hemanth consults a renowned Psychiatrist Dr Manivannan., who runs through a history about cult suicides and advice's him to forget about Chaitra since people who are in such cults do not have trust upon anyone outside the cult and it is impossible to convince them unless they trust the other person. To save his love and as per the briefing by the doctor, Hemanth decides to get closer to the family and be one among them so that he can gain their trust and slowly change their mindset. He marries Chaitra to enter the family to know them further. That is the meaning of the title " telisinavaallu" which means "known people". As he enters the family, he meets the eccentric members who are all into superstitions and doubts and suspicions and they do not trust Hemath easy and everyone has some secret in their closet and the house itself is a mysterious hornet. Did Hemanth succeed in his goal and what is the real motive behind the cult of the family members will be revealed in the film.
