Doodlebug (2022)

Meet Artist. A final year fine art student in London. She can't find inspiration from her art from nowhere, instead having to get out onto the busy streets of the capital to draw inspiration from humans in their natural states, which plays in with the idea for her graduate exhibit. One day, whilst sitting and doodling in the cafe she's a regular at, a man with a limp comes in and immediately catches her interest. When he comes back into the cafe the next day, she manages to talk to him, which he isn't enthusiastic about. A back-and-forth of who's watching whom ensues until Interest has her trapped in an alley-way and forces her to stop following him. She has suspicions that he is a notorious murderer that has been plaguing London's streets for the prior months. She agrees to leave him alone, but when she accepts a lucrative commission, she finds herself terrifyingly reunited with unreadable man she's been tailing for the last few days. Is she just there for a commission, or does he plan on something far more sinister?
