No Dessert for Bert

Charlie is fully aware of how lucky he is. After ruining his relationship with his girlfriend Lisa once by getting caught up with the wrong crowd, doing the wrong things, he was given a second chance. A year later, he's cleaned up his act, has a good job and even managed to buy a home with Lisa. After finally getting settled in, Charlie invites Lisa's judgmental and overbearing brother Ed and his wife Sharon over for dinner. He works diligently to make a great impression and prove he is worthy of Lisa's love. Unfortunately for Charlie, his mission is put in jeopardy when his when his wildly crazy and completely out of control old buddy Bert shows up unexpectedly, putting a major wrinkle in his plans.
