Bubble Girl (2022)

Mara awakes alone in her apartment to the vibration of her phone. She scrolls through meaningless notifications, and lies to her mother that she's busy. She is engulfed by an overwhelming depression when suddenly, from the closet, she hears movement. Mara is confronted by a figure that resembles herself, naked and vulnerable, hiding inside her closet. She makes various attempts to relate and communicate with the strange being, and soon discovers that love is what the creature needs, and maybe she needs it too.
