Burden of Thought (2021)

Burden of Thought is a psychological-horror film seeking to turn certain themes of the genre on its head. Hal Johnson, a man with a dark past, becomes subject to a modern day haunting. Wails, shadows flitting from room to room, ghastly faces in the mirror - all the symptoms of a ghostly presence are there. He finds that he must both confront and utilize the ghosts of his past so that he may, somehow, banish or defeat the ghosts of the present.
