This is live television coverage of the 48th annual charity football game in Sacramento Called the Pig Bowl. Originally created in 1975, this event featured opposing teams from the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department and the Sacramento City Police Department. The event was rebranded in 2003 as Guns and Hoses and now features area law enforcement officers, the Law Hogs, vs. Sacramento Area Fire Fighters, the Fire Dogs. In this game, the Dogs defeated the Hogs 7-3 in one of the lowest scoring games in the event's history.
