The Emerald Forest

After the death of his wife, Ben Thompson struggles to get back on his feet. Although encouraged by friends, he relies on alcohol to get him through the day. One night he meets a stranger that will change his life forever. Magically Ben is pulled into the world of Oz - but not Oz as we know it. Hundreds of years before the arrival of Dorothy, this is a medieval world, run by witches, warlocks, and gnomes. Magic and the steel edge of the sword are how decisions are made. Ben will soon find that he was not brought into this world by mistake but rather to discover his true past. With a war raging in Oz, Ben may be the only one that can stop it.
