Sirens Call (2025)

Miri Ian Gossing and Lina Sieckmann's debut feature follows Una, the mermaid, in her search for identity. She is part of the subculture of 'merfolk', people who do not identify themselves as fully human, but as hybrids. In search of other beings like herself, Una leads a nomadic life, and in this documentary she introduces us to those who have chosen to lead a life outside the demands of standards.
